Aligning Capital with Community for a Resilient New Orleans

Impact Experience, in partnership with The Kresge Foundation’s American Cities Initiative, is launching a New Orleans Impact Experience

Scheduled for Spring 2026, this two-day gathering will bring together residents, local leaders, philanthropists, institutional investors, CDFIs, and MDIs to co-create solutions rooted in the lived expertise of frontline communities.

Together, we will examine how capital flows can be realigned to serve the long-term resilience of underinvested neighborhoods.

The convening will feature:

• Place-based learning experiences in New Orleans

• Facilitated dialogues connecting local knowledge with capital providers

• Post-convening support to sustain momentum and impact

By bridging community wisdom with cross-sector resources, we aim to catalyze systems-level change that endures well beyond this event.
